Feel Like You Are Attending Your Classes Physically!
This initiative came to my mind sometime in 2019 after I taught yoga to the under-privileged children and women who don’t have enough resources, support or guidance to lead physically and mentally healthy life.
Stri in Shiva Purana refers to a ‘beautiful woman’. She has the power to create, nurture and transform life within her. If a woman is healthy, balanced and on the spiritual path, she is going to pass on the same legacy to the next generation, making sure the world be a peaceful and beautiful place to live in. As the famous African proverb says – “If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation.”
The aim is to educate girls and women about the major stages and changes they experience during their lifetime and how yoga can be a great tool to overcome the problems occur during these phases and help them create healthy, balanced, and happy life. I desire to help women find a sacred space within themselves to nurture, heal and re-connect.
