Who is this course designed for?+
This course is designed for women practitioners who want to deepen their personal practice, become certified yoga teachers, or expand their understanding of women's health through yoga. No prior teaching experience is required — a sincere personal practice is sufficient to begin.
Why is this YTT specifically for women?+
Traditional YTTs often follow a universal or male-centric structure that doesn't account for the female body's unique physiology, hormonal cycles, and life stages. This program is built around women's bodies — integrating cycle-synced yoga, women's anatomy, Ayurveda for women, and practices for every stage from menarche to menopause.
What is the format of the training?+
This is a residential immersive programme held at our centre in Kerala, India. Accommodation and meals are included. Please write to us at support@striwellness.com and we'll share all the details.
What certification will I receive?+
Upon successful completion of the 200-hour program, you will receive a Yoga Alliance USA RYS 200 certificate. This is an internationally recognised credential that allows you to register as an RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance and teach globally.
Do I need prior yoga teaching experience?+
No prior teaching experience is necessary. A sincere personal yoga practice of at least 6 months is recommended. The course is structured to take you from practitioner to confident, certified teacher through progressive skill-building.
How is Ayurveda integrated into the curriculum?+
Ayurveda is woven throughout the curriculum as the sister science of yoga. You will learn how to assess doshas, align dietary and lifestyle practices with a woman's cyclical nature, use Ayurvedic herbs and daily routines, and apply these principles in your teaching.
